Four Blank Walls: Experiments in Sound is a programme that teams up a group of NUS student musicians with a professional sound artist every semester on an eight-week workshopping process to create an experimental collaborative sound performance. This festival edition of Four Blank Walls pushes itself to new heights by involving students with established practice in their artistry, crafting an elaborate sonic soundscape to evoke a transcendent sensorial experience, and incorporates performance elements by n:ow arts. This edition under NUS Arts Festival is presented as part of third space supported by ExxonMobil Asia Pacific.
This edition of Four Blank Walls features NUS student musicians Aditya Joshi, Ian Sin, Nicholas Wong, Shreya Ramasamy and Xiao Wen, and NUS student artist collective n:ow arts. It is facilitated and directed by Syafiq Halid.
