Marco Polo – The Winding Road is a symphonic odyssey through pivotal moments in history where individuals or civilisations stood at a crossroads.
Performed by NUS Wind Symphony alongside Chinese instrumentalists, and conducted by Dr. Pamornpan Komolpamorn, this concert captures the vibrant splendour of these historic events through the evocative power of music. The repertoire for the evening includes Marco Polo – The Cathay Years by Luis Alarcon and a specially-commissioned piece by Singapore’s Benjamin Yeo.
